The Greatest Promise

John 3:16. Most of us learned this verse at a young age. We see it displayed at sporting events, written on sidewalks, even as headlines on pamphlets. Have we become numb to the message contained within these twenty-five words? John 3:16. This verse declares hope for all. This verse tells of the mercy of God. This verse reminds us of our inadequacy, and yet promises us our reward. This verse is our testimony to the world. We must learn to fully appreciate the truth packed into this verse � one word at a time.
